Family holds one-week observation for late John Kumah

It was a difficult time for the wife and children of late Deputy Finance Minister Dr. John Kumah, as several mourners gathered in Ejisu to commiserate with the family on his death and commemorate his one-week observation.

It was a difficult time for the wife and children of late Deputy Finance Minister Dr. John Kumah, as several mourners gathered in Ejisu to commiserate with the family on his death and commemorate his one-week observation.

The bereaved wife could not hold back her tears at the sight of people crying and calling her late husband’s name. She burst into tears as she was held by her four children and some relatives.

Some notable NPP gurus seen at the one-observation include Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Osei Kyei-Bonsu, Ken Ofori-Atta, Andrew Egyapa Mercer, Matthew Opoku Prempeh and others.

The late Deputy Finance Minister will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.

The final funeral rites will take place on Sunday, May 19th, 2024.

The deceased, who was also a New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ejisu constituency, died on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

His death has left many in shock and constituents are grappling to come to terms with his sudden demise.

At the age of 45, he passed away after a brief illness, leaving behind his wife and six children.
