Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has settled on the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre to transact government business. 

The Speaker’s decision to use the Dome is as a result of ongoing works in parliament and the urgent need for a place to transact government business.

In a statement released on Tuesday August 27, 2024, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin noted that “pursuant to the notice to summon parliament dated 7th August, 2024, I Rt. Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin speaker of parliament hereby appoints the Dome, Accra International Conference Centre as the place of the meeting”.

Parliament adjourned Sine die on July 30, 2024 and will resume on Tuesday September 3, 2024.
