The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana OpokuAgyemang, is expected to commence a campaign tour of the Western Region today Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
According to the campaign team, the three-day tour will focus on constituencies where the NDC does not have a sitting Member of Parliament.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will begin her campaign in Tarkwa Nsuaem and continue through Ahanta West and Mpohor constituencies.
She will also visit Shama, Essikado-Ketan, Sekondi, Takoradi, Effia, and Kwesimintsim constituencies.
As part of her campaign, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will continue her engagement with market women, traders, commercial drivers, and the general public.
Since being announced as running mate to John Mahama, Prof Opoku-Agyemang has toured the Central and Greater Accra regions.
Prior to commencing her tour of the Western region, Prof. Jane Naana OpokuAgyemang was in Harare to disengage as Chancellor of Women’s University in Africa where she has been serving for the past six years and fully focused on playing her part to secure power for the NDC come December 7, 2024.
Her campaign tour of the Western Region will come to an end on Thursday.
