A young lady identified as Nafisatu Latif has taken her life poisoning after a breakup with her boyfriend at Nkawie Toase in the Ashanti Region.
According to EDHUB, Nafisatu had doubts about her relationship with her boyfriend and suspected him of cheating on her. She decided to use one of her friends to test his commitment to the relationship.
Unfortunately, the test went so far that the friend she used as bait provided no feedback and continued to ignore her phone calls.
This sparked a heated argument between her and her boyfriend for about a month until the unexpected occurred last Saturday when she drank poison to put an end to everything.
However, she did not die immediately and was rushed to Nkawie Government Hospital on Saturday evening. She was later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where she passed away last Monday at dawn.
Nasisatu Natif was buried by the Muslim community at Nkawie last Monday.
