A gory Accident at Anyinamso-Nkawie have claimed the lives of a pregnant mother in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.

The accident is said to have occurred on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

A report sourced by myrepubliconline.com indicates that the accident involved a taxi loaded with four passengers on board and a private car carrying two people including the driver.

The private car was coming from Bonteiso to Nkawie direction when it collided with the taxi, which was heading towards Bonteiso from Nkawie at Anyinamso.

Both vehicles were on top speed when the collision occurred.

The driver of the taxi and a pregnant woman also in the taxi died on the spot.

The remaining passengers in the private car and the taxi have sustained various degree of injuries and are receiving treatment at the hospital.

The taxi caught fire and burned beyond recognition after the dead bodies were removed from it.

The Police have conveyed bodies to the morgue for autopsy and preservation while investigation is still ongoing.
