The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has cut a sod for the construction Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Senior High School at Sawua in Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region.
He said the facility when completed will offer great opportunity to most students in the field of science and technology and build their capabilities in the sector.
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum insisted that science and technology continues to play a vital role in the development of every nation, and that, the government should continue to offer such opportunities to students who wish to pursue such courses.
The Minister of Education who was the Guest of Honour for the occasion thanked Hon. Joseph kwasi Asuming, the DCE for Bosomtwe, Mr. Addae Poku Aikins, the Constituency Chairman, Assembly Man, District Education Executives, chiefs, and Chairperson for the ceremony, Sawua Hemaa Nana Akosua Abrefi II who are poised to work together with contractors to work within schedule.
