Five persons have died after a car they were travelling with, Toyota Corolla, was involved in an accident at Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region.
Report says the family of five were returning from a December 31st all-night service when the sad incident occurred.
According to source, the family was rescued lifeless after a Toyota Corolla with registration number WR-28-48 they were driving in collided head-on with an articulator truck with registration number GN 9828-20.
The source also noted that the driver of the Toyota Corolla attempted to overtake the truck and failed in the process which resulted in the gory accident.
Due to the impact of the crash, the front side of the vehicle mangled, trapping the occupants which eventually led to their demise.
