The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Garages, Mr. Luqman Mohammed Nuhu Appiedu, has said that the association is in the process of regulating the activities of tricycles within the Suame Magazine enclave to curb the growing criminal activities in the area.
He said they have received several complaints from passengers concerning the bad activities of the Pragya riders.
According to him, it is the GNAG’s responsibility to guarantee that such alleged improper conduct by riders ceases.
The chairman of the Ghana National Association of Garages added that they will provide stickers for all tricycles within the enclaves of Suame Magazine to ensure easy identification.
“We shall soon regulate the activities of the Pragya business at Suame Magazine. Measures are in the pipeline. We are doing this to check growing reported criminal cases and to ensure everyone is safe,” he added.
He stated,’’ in collaboration and support from the necessary authorities, we shall provide identifiable stickers for the Pragya riders within Suame Magazine. We shall plead with all passengers to ensure they board only Pragya with GNAG sticker on it to avoid any problem”.
