The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with a recent robbery that occurred at Offinso Abofour, resulting in the theft of gold and an unspecified amount of money.
The suspect, identified as Seidu, was apprehended on Saturday, May 25, 2025, during a targeted police operation following credible intelligence.
Authorities say preliminary investigations point to Seidu’s direct involvement in the robbery, which is believed to be part of a wider pattern of criminal activity.

Efforts are underway to track down Seidu’s accomplices, with the police assuring the public that every resource is being deployed to bring all involved parties to justice.
“The arrest of suspect Seidu is a significant step in our ongoing fight against violent crime,” a police spokesperson said.
