A/R: Madam Akua Donkor hands over 1000 acres of land to GNAoG

The Executives of Ghana National Association Of Garages [GNAoG] in the Ashanti region have received over one thousand acres of land from the founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor on February 1, 2022.

It will be recalled that the farmer cum politician revealed weeks ago that she is ready to support the workers of Garages.

At a colourful event at Wawase in the Afigya Kwabre South district, she presented the parcel of land to the Association.

She reiterated her commitment to support them in all aspects of their activities, adding that Garages have been a major industrial hub in the country, assisting most young ones to learn and gain knowledge and skills.

“I am ready to support the workers at the Ghana National of Garages [GNAoG], as I promised earlier, I have fulfilled my vows of handing over this property to them in order to help extend their scope and branches, it will also go along way to boost industrialization in the country whilst reducing poverty,” she noted.

She appealed to other relevant stakeholders to support the young and intelligent ones in their societies to reduce high unemployment rates in the society.

The vice president for the association, Mr. Lukeman Nuhu on behalf of the staff, expressed his profound gratitude to her for the wonderful support.

“It has taken us by surprise for this wonderful news, on behalf of my staff and executives, I pledge we shall make her proud and make judicious use of the land, our purpose is to build an industrial hub to help reduce unemployment lapses in the country,” he added.
