A 45-year-old farmer is on the run after shooting his friend, Yaw Saahene dead at Tepa-Mabang in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The reports indicate that the suspect, Akwasi Noshi accused the deceased, also known as ‘Buffalo’ of having an affair with his wife.
Narrating the news to the media, the wife of the suspect, Abena disclosed that his husband (suspect) has been accusing her of having secret affair with the deceased outside their marriage.
The suspect, therefore, planned to deal with his friend (now deceased).
He intentionally invited his friend to his house for a discussion. Unknowing to the deceased, he came to the house.
Immediately he entered the house, Akwasi Noshi gunned him down and took to his heels after committing the act.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Tepa Government Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation while the suspect is on the run.
Police are on a manhunt for the suspect and have commenced an investigation into the matter.
