A woman who is believed to be in her 50s has allegedly hanged herself at Nsata Kwasi Ansah village near Nsata Subriso Kitiwa in the Adansi South district of the Ashanti Region.
According to report, the deceased, Mary Gyan was unwell for some months.
The husband of the deceased, Joseph Aidoo said his wife was mentally unstable and all efforts to get her healed have proven futile.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the Mary Gyan went to their farm last three days but failed to return home.
She was found hanging on a tree after residents searched everywhere for her.
Mary Gyan was married with 7 children.
The body has been deposited at a nearby hospital for preservation and autopsy.
