The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested a 14-year-old girl who faked her kidnapping.
The Police made the arrest on Monday, January 24, 2023.
Lawrencia, 14, allegedly went into hiding in her boyfriend’s room at Assin Fosu.
According to the report, she spent fourteen days with the guy.
She reportedly used different phone to call the woman whom she stays with in Accra, specifically at Fadama, saying she has been kidnapped by some men.
Lawrencia’s parents live in Ashanti Region, Abuakwa in Atwima Nwabiagya South municipality but she stays with her Mother’s sister.
She kept calling the woman that she has been abducted.
Her texts:
“Please call me, is me Lawrencia. I have been kidnapped. Call me, they have gone out leaving me alone here, so call me please”.
After some minutes, she will also text:
“Please don’t call me, they are in so don’t call me else they will k!ll me”.
It was all a plan to take money from the woman.
The woman reported the case to the police and she was fished out from her hideout..
She insisted that she was kidnapped and that four men had s3x with her.
