Police in the Ashanti region are on a manhunt for a young man identified as Collins Mensah for allegedly bolting away with a woman’s business capital.

Madam Rosina, who is a mobile money operator, said she employed Collins, who is in his late 20s and also known as Pharmacy, to help her with her mobile money business after she had a child and could no longer attend to the business as usual.

According to Madam Rosina, Collins hails from Bonsu Nkwanta in the Western Region and was residing with her brother at Kwaso.

Narrating the incident to Republic Online, Madam Rosina revealed that on Friday, September 29, 2023, Collins went to work as usual but left the shop after a few hours.

“My mother went to the shop and realized that Collins was not there. I called his personal number 15 times but he did not answer”, Madam Rosina lamented.

She sadly added that he left two phones used for credit transfers in the shop and ran away with a sum of Gh¢20,600.

Although she reported the incident to the police in Kwaso for some 2 months, Madam Rosina said the police are not showing any seriousness to her plight but keep telling her they are working to find the whereabouts of Collins.
