At least six people have been killed and several others critically injured in a collision between that occurred between a Hyundai Urvan and a trailer on the Obuasi-Kyekyewere road in the Ashanti Region.
The crash, reportedly occurred at about 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Several reports indicate that the trailer lost control near Aboagye Motors, close to the Obuasi court junction, colliding with the Hyundai Urvan and causing multiple fatalities and injuries.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Obuasi Government Hospital, while the injured are receiving medical care at the same facility.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and prevent future occurrences.
