A/R: Two employees found dead in parked vehicle at Atonsu Agogo

The deceased, identified as Baba, was a senior staff member and a female (yet to be identified ), employed for less than two months were discovered on the back seat of the vehicle, with the woman’s head resting on Baba who was reportedly dressed in only a singlet and shorts.

Two employees of Asomdwie Rubber Company have been found dead in a parked vehicle at the premises of a shoe factory at Atonsu Agogo in the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, identified as Baba, was a senior staff member and a female (yet to be identified ), employed for less than two months were discovered on the back seat of the vehicle, with the woman’s head resting on Baba who was reportedly dressed in only a singlet and shorts.

The car’s tinted windows were rolled up and the doors locked at the time of discovery.

According to sources, the deceased individuals had attended the wedding of a manager of the Company on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Later that evening, the female employee who reported for work complained of feeling unwell and was made to go home.

Around 8 pm, residents observed Baba’s vehicle driving into the area before it parked with the engine running, but later went off.

The car remained unmoved throughout Sunday, November 23 until the following day when workers and residents alerted the police after a foul smell filled the area.

Officers broke the vehicle’s windows to gain access and found the two bodies.

Further reports indicate that Baba married in early August 2025, and his wife is currently pregnant. The female colleague is said to have also been preparing for her wedding, scheduled for December 2025.
