Authorities of the Namong SDA primary school in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region are calling on the government to come and help complete the abandoned classroom blocks for them as weed smokers have taken over the dilapidated school building.
According to them, the challenges confronting the school have overwhelmed them as the school block which was built under GETFUND for over 11 years has been abandoned by the government.
Due to the deadly nature of the building, they have to close the Students from school for the fear of rain storm which may cause mayhem to them.
Mr. Nimo Eric, Class six Teacher disclosed that, their students are not able to take the end of term examination due to the deplorable state of the classroom blocks.
He therefore made a passionate appeal to the government and the authorities in the municipality to come and properly construct the structures of the school to enhance teaching and learning.
