A 40-year-old mother of six has been found dead with a gunshot wound to her head in the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened at dawn on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Bokruwaa, a farming community near Sabronum in the Ahafo Ano South East District.
According to reports, the deceased’s brother, Emmanuel Kyei, discovered her lifeless body on her bed with a gunshot wound. The victim’s husband had traveled, leaving her alone at home with their children.
The family has reported the matter to the Sabronum Police, who have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be determined, and the police are working to identify the perpetrator. The community is in shock, and the family is seeking justice for the victim.
