Ghanaian politician and former MP, Hawa Koomson, has expressed disappointment over the silence of former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Second Lady Samira Bawumia following her assault during the Ablekuma North rerun election.

Speaking publicly for the first time after the incident, Koomson revealed that while several prominent figures checked on her and wished her well, the two high-profile women have yet to reach out.

“I expected at least a call or message from them, but I haven’t heard anything,”

She said, adding that the situation has helped her identify the real from the fake in her circle.

She also recounted narrowly avoiding what she described as an “unknown insect,” hinting at deeper lessons learned through the experience.
