The Sunyani Municipal National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Manager, Mr Maxwell Mahama has said, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should quarantine Abronye.
According to Maxwell Mahama who also doubles as the Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sunyani East Constituency of the Bono Region, Kwame Baffoe Abronye who is the Chairman of the NPP in the Bono Region should be tamed as soon as possible before things get out of hands.
Abronye DC in his recent interview asserted that he has regretted supporting President Akuffo Addo in his bid to become president of the republic of Ghana.
The worried Bono Regional Chairman for the NPP added that those like himself, who toiled with their blood and strength for the President to become the president have been sidelined in his government after winning the power.
He continued that, the people who lambasted the President have been given juicy positions by the same president leaving the true people who fought for him.
He, therefore, stated without hesitating that, never will he follow any candidate that the president will ask him to.
But, this statement by Abronye according to the Sunyani East Constituency’s Communications Director of the party, Maxwell Mahama, is below the belt.
Reacting to the comment on a Kumasi-based Silver FM’s morning show chaired by Nana Ampratwum on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, Mr Mahama elaborated that, Abronye has benefited hugely from the party since Nana Addo assumed the throne as Ghana’s president.
He wondered how a whole party chairman will go so low in his speech to his president and the leader of his party like that.
“I think it is about high time Abronye should be called to order. He should be quarantined”, Mr Maxwell Mahama said during the interview monitored by myrepubliconline.com
He added that Abronye is a liar and entreated Ghanaians to disregard his comment about the president.
“He has benefited a lot from the party under Nana Addo. He acquired a lot of cars. Houses, including auction cars given to him by the party.
How can you be ungrateful to your President and party like this?”, Mahama stressed.
