The Ghana Football Association has officially announced Access Bank as an official sponsor of the Division One league for next season.
This announcement was made at the GFA headquarters in Accra.
Addressing some executive members of the Bank and the Division One clubs ahead of the new campaign, the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku said, “When I took office as the president, I told my general Secretary that we have been doing business with a lot of banks, but we get nothing in return.”
Hence any bank that wants to sustain business with the Association must be ready to invest in the products of the GFA, he added.
Access Bank are the only Bank to have accepted the directive by the Association and has decided to invest Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) into the league for one year.
The GFA President further added that all 48 Division One clubs are expected to open accounts with Access Bank.
Access Bank will offer Division One League clubs overdrafts and loan facilities as part of the sponsorship package.
