The 17-year-old left back who has caught the eye of many clubs in Europe, with his sharp rise for the Ghana Premier League side will spend two weeks training with the Blues in order to secure a contract.

His trial journey began on Monday, January 8, when he successfully completed his fitness test.

He has made 15 appearances so far for Accra Lions in the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season, scoring one goal.

He could join the likes of Micheal Essien, Baba Rahman and Christian Atsu from Ghana who have played for the London club.

Chelsea are keen to stock their academy with the best young talent from around the world, and in recent weeks have signed youngsters from Brazil, Jamaica and Serbia.

The club is also embarking on a multi-club strategy built around young players, with BlueCo partner club Strasbourg having £22million to spend on Under-23 players in January.
