The final funeral rites for the late mother of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Obuasi West, Faustilove Kannin, were tragically interrupted on Saturday, November 29, 2025, when a traditional leader, the Dompoasehene, Nana Kwabena Ponko, was shot in a suspected assassination attempt.
