The Adisadel College student who assaulted a colleague student is expected to appear in court today, July 28, 2023.

The student who was arrested by the police was cautioned with causing harm and assault and was later released to the school’s headmaster to be produced in court on Friday, July 28.

The viral video which surfaced on social media showed one student violently attacking another student in the dormitory.

The disturbing incident caused a lot of stir in the public resulting in the school authorities suspending those involved.

Meanwhile, the victim has been recalled to the school after he was initially suspended and measures are in place to ensure his well-being and provide the needed psychological help.

School authorities have however expressed commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment for all students and taking firm action against any form of violence or misconduct.

The deputy minister for Education, Rev. Ntim Fordjour who visited the school called for an end to any form of bullying in various schools across the country.

He also mentioned that an investigative team has been set up to look into the incident and submit a report to the ministry.
