Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has admitted that they are aware Ghanaians will subject them to severe criticism if they fail to beat Mozambique in their last group game.
He said this during his pre-match press conference ahead of Ghana’s encounter with Mozambique in their last group B match.
He asserts that they are well aware of the consequences considering the poor start of the competition.
“For all of the questions that you ask about the previous performances and the pressure now, the players have to use that as a motivation and I would like to think that after the first performance, we always know that there will be criticism if we don’t get the results that we want, and I would like to think the team use that in a positive way.”
The Black Stars had a poor start to the competition, after they lost their first Group B match against Cape Verde, and shared points with Egypt in their second game.
Ghana is currently in third place and facing a challenging situation after only picking up one point in their last two games.
