About fifteen West African Heads of State and state officials arrived in Ghana to attend the Extraordinary ECOWAS Summit held in Accra.

The Summit is to enable the authority to deliberate and take consequential decisions on the evolving political and security situation in the Republic of Mali.

Prior to this, Rev. Emmanuel Boakye, an International Relations Expert in Politics has made clear that, Africans should bear in mind that the insecurity political problems want just end there , but it will rather take different dimensions.

He blamed AU and the ECOWAS body for not responding earlier , because AU was aware of the consequences of this political insecurities in Mali at the moment.

He said the suspension of Mali , want get any effect on the country but rather the citizens will be affected much.

AU and ECOWAS needs to be proactive enough to handle the issue and he edged the Republic of Mali to calm down for AU and ECOWAS to resolve their political insecurities.

He added that, President Nana Addo is powerful enough to help resolve anything that is hindering the Malians and show his leadership skills as ECOWAS Chairman.
