The Face behind the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako popularly known as Freedom Jacob Caesar has emphasized that the goal of bringing Pan African leaders to speak at the convention was to to educate and inspire knowledge in the African youth.

During an interview with Citi TV’s Bernard Avle on Monday, January 15, he explained that these African leaders would have through their messages impacted the youth while clarifying that their purpose was not to help unveil the man behind the mask.

“We genuinely wanted to bring these people to open the mindset of the youth of Africa. I knew that I would still come in as the man in the mask but wanted people to know when they found out later about the contributions of the New Africa Foundation we bring into the system. This event was going to impact based on what they will say. It wasn’t the plan to unveil a New Force. It was because the entity, or whoever decided to cancel the event, needed an excuse. But even if it was so, would it have been wrong for me to unveil my movement? No, it’s not a crime,” he said.

He reiterated that, he will contest as an independent candidate in the upcoming election seeking to to inspire entrepreneurs in Ghana by addressing the challenges and fears in the entrepreneurial space as well as educate them on how to start any business with small or no capital.

“I want people to understand that they can start any business from a very small scale and start to build the capital. And when they build capital, they shouldn’t build capital for the capital to be consumed by problems that will come along. They should build capital to reinvest the capital as an investment through any sort of development. It can just be a simple technological software”, he added.

He further indicated that, the cancellation of his much-awaited Convention at the Black Star Square scheduled for Sunday, January 7, gave way for them to deliver the right message to the Ghanaian people.

“I don’t think it’s just the cancellation that has helped me to achieve my aim. But the fact that they all agreed for us to do a press conference to explain ourselves actually sent the right message to the people”, he stated.
