Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker has expressed concerns over Afriyie Barnieh’s red card he picked in yesterday’s match against Sudan.
The captain of the Ghanaian team, Afriyie Barnieh was sent off by referee Alhadji Allaou Mahamat following a poor tackle on Walieldin Khdir Safour in the 97th minute.
Answering a question at his post match press conference about whether Barnieh’s absence will affect his team, Annor Walker said it is a blow to him but he will have to make the necessary changes to ensure they win their next match.
“Its just unfortunate this situation happened, and I’m worried a bit because he is one of my top strikers but since i came with 23 to 25 players, definitely there will be a replacement in the next match, and after that he will be back.”
Ghana’s last game against Morocco will not happen due to the North African country’s absence in the tournament.
