The founder and head pastor of Glorious Word International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has shared the terror he endured at the hands of the police last year.
After a public argument with Rev. Agradaa, he argued that the President and Vice President ought to have stepped in to stop his arrest and further prosecution.
Owusu-Bempah voiced his displeasure with the roles President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia played in his arrest, imprisonment, and subsequent court processes during a sermon a few days ago.
“One day, I will speak out. How I suffered because of Nana Akufo-Addo, I put my life in my hand, whenever I am going about, people follow me with guns and cars. You became president and after getting what you want, thrashed me. I should be disgraced?” he quizzed.
He stressed that he had issues with the President, his vice and some individuals within the NPP. “As for me, I am pained by Akufo-Addo, that order from above that caused me to be handcuffed to a bed, gave me a shock.”
“I was sent to Police hospital and while a drip was on me on a bed, I was chained to the bed in the name of order from above,” he added, describing how he got medical symptoms while in the cells.
He claimed that Dampare was engaging in such behaviour and that Akufo-Addo and Bawumia were aware of it.
Even though he has animosity toward both guys, Owusu-Bempah asserted that they called to wish him a happy birthday.
“Afterwards, you call wishing me a happy birthday. You know what…. All your promises you failed to fulfill, yet you allow for me to be arrested despite being the one at the receiving end of abuse and hurled before the court.
