A member of the national communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chief Mmorndoe Osman, says President Akufo-Addo has moved from a Family and friends style of leadership to family and family.
According to the President is currently giving positions to his family members in the party.
Mr Chief Mmorndoe Osman’s comment comes after the president appointed the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta as Trade and Industry caretaker Minister until a substantive minister is appointed.
Speaking in an interview on High Radio Morning Show, the Communications team Member asked about the whereabouts of all the men the New Patriotic Party claimed to have some time ago.
He recounted how former President John Dramani Mahama was accused of practising family and friends governance after appointing Madam Joyce Bawa Mogtari as the then Deputy Minister of Aviation.
Mr Chief Mmorndoe Osman averred that if Mahama was then tagged for engaging in Family and Friends administration, then president Akufo-Addo is a tyrant who is seriously governing Ghana with his family members hence practising Family and Family governance.
“There are a lot of personalities in the New Patriotic Party who have not held any ministerial positions with some of them being members of parliament and can equally perform in any sector being appointed to work, so why the decision to appoint Ken Ofori-Atta to take over the Trade and Industry Ministry?.” He asked
