Some chiefs in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the vision and ideas of the Vice President.
Nana Okumkom Boame Ankrah, speaking on behalf of the chiefs during the Vice President’s stakeholder engagement with various religious organizations at Abenase, a local town in the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency, on Wednesday, August 21, encouraged Dr. Bawumia to continue his commendable work and remain resolute.
“All we desire is for peace to prevail in our beloved country because without peace, traditional leaders and Ghanaians cannot carry out their daily activities.
We urge Dr. Bawumia to continue his good works. The NPP, through our Member of Parliament, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has done exceptionally well. We take this opportunity to assure Dr. Bawumia that we will fully back his plans, vision, and leadership, believing he will become the President of Ghana to help further develop Akyemansa and the nation. The Nananom are confident that you will be our next President,” he stated.
Nana Okumkom also commended Dr. Bawumia for leading the construction of the Agenda 111 District Hospital in Ofoase.
The Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi and Minister of Works and Housing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, expressed his gratitude to the chiefs and assured them that the completion of the Agenda 111 District Hospital, which is near completion, will be prioritized.
