The vice-presidential candidate of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, widely known as E-KOD, has promised Ghanaians that an administration led by Mr Alan Kyeremanten would bring significant economic and political transformation to Ghana.

In a statement issued by his office on Monday, September 16, 2024, Mr. Danso called his nomination a “distinguished honour,” expressing pride in being selected to run alongside Alan Kyeremanten, the presidential candidate of the non-partisan Movement for Change and former Minister for Trade and Industry.

Expressing his delight at his nomination, Mr. Danso said: “This opportunity to partner the leading non-partisan political figure to run for the highest office of the land, with a plan of transformation for our nation is the greatest indication of a belief and a commitment to the youth cause and for this, I am profoundly grateful to the Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen.”

He added, “We would like to assure our Afrafranto family, the leadership of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change and all Ghanaians, particularly the youth, of our unwavering commitment, founded in our common pursuit of hope, possibility and a brighter future for all.”

Charging Ghanaians, particularly the youth, to support the Movement for Change, Mr. Danso said: “It is time to rally behind a government of national unity led by the formidable Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen for the economic and political transformation our dear nation desperately needs.”
