This year marks the Maiden edition of READY 2 PERFORM CONCERT; A concert organised by TSF in partnership with Media Excel And Platinum Bay Hotel aims to celebrate Ghanaian Music Legends And Pioneers was held in Accra-Ghana, PlatinumBayHotel(Abokobi) to be precise.
General Overview Of READY TO PERFORM held On 22nd December 2033.
The program had great performers with legendary Amakye Dede as the headliner. The program was scheduled to start at exactly 9pm and it indeed started at exactly 9 pm.
STAGE,SOUND AND LIGHTENING
The stage setup including lights and sound was put together by TSF, a notable brand when it comes to putting up an international standard concert across the globe, TSF have done countless of concerts from Europe to America.
I must say the setup was one of a kind that we’ve seen in Ghana by a Ghanaian.
The lineup for the night was impressive and each did an awesome job at entertaining patrons who attended this event Patch Band which was the carpet band for the night welcomed attendees a calm and warm welcome with 2hours non-stop performance as the opener of the event and had the crowd up and dancing on their feet with both contemporary and indigenous live music, everyone was well warmed up and were ready for the artiste on the bill.
MC’S
MC’S for the night was Doreen Avio of Hitzfm. She did a very great job with her power to control and interact with the audience.
PERFORMANCE
Comedian OB Amponsah opened the floor and ushered patrons with smiles and laughter. I must say there was never a dry joke from the stand-up comedian.
Kayblez formerly Bless of Chochomoncho fame and the Safua Band gave the audience an amazing performance.
Afriyie came through with his performance and everyone just couldn’t get enough of his performance and energy.
Kk Fosu performed almost all his catchy and hit songs, patrons kept yearning for more.
Ofori Amponsah’s performance was marvellous.
The overwhelming moment was when his colleague and friend Kofi Nti joined him on stage, patrons enjoyed their union on stage and requested for songs to be performed, during their performance KK Fosu joined them back and stage and it was epic, his performance wouldn’t ended without granting the wish of former IGP Boamah.
Biggest Moment
AmakyeDede, as old as he is performed back to back energetically for almost 3 hours and wished for a longer time to keep audience entertained, the audience stayed on their feet the very moment he got on stage.
I can say with authority that “READY TO PERFORM 2023” is one the biggest musical concerts than happened in Ghana and Africa and will go down in the history of great concerts to ever happen.
