H.E. TONG Defa, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, presented the Letter of Credence to H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana.
Ambassador TONG conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from H.E. President XI Jinping and said that it was his great honour to serve as the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana and he was ready to make new contributions to the development of China-Ghana relations.
President Akufo-Addo asked Ambassador Tong to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to President XI Jinping and warmly welcomed Ambassador Tong to his new post.
Ambassador Tong arrived in Ghana on 4th August and submitted Open Letters to Ghanaian Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey on the morning of 13th August.
