Social media have become quite busy since yesterday up until now. This is mainly because of a lyrical beef going on at the moment between Mic Burners’ Signee, Amerado and Zylofon Music signee, Obibini.
The genesis of the beef started when Amerado was asked by a TV3 presenter if he threw shots at Obibini during his freestyle at Tim Westwood.
Amerado responded that, it was just a freestyle which didn’t even emphatically mention Obibini’s name, but if he (Obibini) feels insulted in anyway as a rapper, he can as well hop into the booth and record a diss song for him (Amerado).
A few hours after the interview hit online, Obibini recorded his first diss song, ‘Deceased’ which was a direct shot at Amerado. Amerado without hesitation replied with a diss song as well, titled ‘Throne.’
Obibini went ahead to reply in a few hours with a song called ‘Carcass.’ Amerado is set to reply again at 2pm with another song called ‘Fatality.’
Social media users, as usual, have been fueling this beef since it started. As some pledge their allegiance to Obibini, others also show support to Amerado.
However, whatever the case may be, there will be no one to professionally determine the winner or loser, since everyone has their preference.
