Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has heavily criticized investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, calling him a ‘blackmailer’ and ‘extortionist’ after an Accra High Court presided over by Justice Eric Baah, dismissed the defamation suit filed by Anas against the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking to Accra based Oman FM, Mr. Nyantakyi said the judge’s decision to call him a blackmailer and extortionist is very true because he has been blackmailed by Anas before.
“Today, the high court’s decision has made the whole world know that Anas is not someone who is not truthful. The description that he is a blackmailer and extortionist is true.
“He has done it to me before because during my case, he sent Kwame Gyan who is a lawyer and lecturer at the University of Ghana to ask me to pay money so that they will leave my case.
“So what the judge said that Anas is an extortionist in court meant that if he Anas does not like you or his friend does not like you, they hire him to come and secretly film you when he finishes, he turns around to come and ask you for money and when you pay the money, they shelve the video so because I did not get the money they demanded, that is why they brought my video.
“I have said before that Tiger Eye P. I is a terrorist group,” he added.
