A land owner, Edmund Famiyeh Yeboah, has filed a complaint against Asafoatse Oyeadieyie (APIA), a notorious land guard, for attacking him.
The incident occurred on September 1, 2024, when Yeboah visited his land at Ablekuma-Abbeyman with his foreman, Michael Gyasi Quansah.
The victim indicated that he intended to assess the suitability of the land for construction purposes.
According to Yeboah, without any warning, APIA arrived with a group of armed men and launched a vicious assault on him.
The attack left Yeboah fearing for his safety and prompting him to seek urgent intervention from the Police.
Yeboah’s petition to the Ghana Police Service highlights the escalating tensions surrounding land disputes in the area and calls for swift action to address the growing problem of land guards and their violent attacks on landowners.
