Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla known as Stonebwoy has shown appreciation to Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan for paying for his surgery some years back.

The 2015 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards winner had an accident on the Tema Motorway in 2003, which affected his right leg.

In 2016, Stonebwoy left Ghana for Germany to have a surgery done to correct the anomaly.

Seven years down the line, the award-winning artiste has taken to Twitter to express how grateful he is to the former Black Stars striker for helping him foot the bills for the surgery.

“@ASAMOAH_GYAN3 you came through for me around this same time 7 years on. you decided to take my surgery cost, I’m forever Grateful,” he wrote.
