The Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District Assembly has donated items to fifty-five Persons With Disabilities.
At the ceremony, the District Chief Executive of the District Hon. Lawrence Edutua-Asiaw indicated that the government has increased the money for disabilities in the country.
According to him, since 2019 over 500 persons with disabilities have received items from the government.
He advised those who have been given the items to make good use of them to be able to feed themselves and their families.
Items donated included fridges, sewing machines, containers, fufu pounding machines, mattresses and among others.
The Worempemhene of the Breman Traditional Area, Nana Miakomante commended the PWDs Executives and the DCE for the kind gesture.
