Assin Gyina: Man slashes his throat after butchering wife to death

A man believed to be in his late 30s known in the area as Kwabena, has allegedly butchered his wife to death at Assin Gyina Wo Bode3 Koforidua in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

A man believed to be in his late 30s known in the area as Kwabena, has allegedly butchered his wife to death at Assin Gyina Wo Bode3 Koforidua in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

After killing the wife, he also attempted suicide by cutting his throat. Currently, he is battling for his life. The deceased, Abena, has two children between the ages of 4 and 2 with the suspect.

The cause of the incident is yet to be identified; however, some residents say the heinous crime was instigated by a little misunderstanding between them.

Bystanders also claim the couple comes from Burkina Faso and was established in the area as farmers not too long ago
