The Asutifi North District Assembly in the Ahafo Region has begun the distribution of the government’s Nkoko Nkitinkiti Initiative.

The distribution exercise took place at Donkorkrom.

According to the DCE, the birds are being given only to beneficiaries whose poultry pens are ready to ensure proper care and reduce mortality.

He thanked the President for fulfilling his promise and assured that the Assembly, together with the District Director of Agriculture, will closely monitor the beneficiaries and provide the needed support.

One of the beneficiaries, Moro Abass, expressed gratitude to the President for the initiative and pledged that beneficiaries would take good care of the birds to help the district and the country reduce the importation of chicken.
