Atiwa East MP interacts with constituents in Abekoase

As part of a broader stakeholder consultation to ascertain the pressing needs of civilians, the Member of Parliament for Atiwa East, Mrs. Abena Osei-Asare has met with her constituents in Abekoase.

The visit, forms part of the MP’s usual engagement with her constituents, to formalize, associates and communicate with them her activities in Parliament.

During a tiring hours of tour, engagement and discussions, the MP in three categories of her approach, held one on one interactions with dozens of community folks, where she discussed and took data for their personal needs with some ranging from education, trade and vocational assistance.

Also, as part of the community engagement, the MP met with some religious organizations in her Constituency.
She visited Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Apostolic Church Ghana, Presbyterian Church of Ghana and The Pentecost Church, The church of Jesus Christ Revival Int. Ministry. She made  cash donations support God’s work.

During her engagement in the churches, one of the key areas she advocated for, was the need for us to forge ahead as one people and charts a positive thinking towards nation-building, through cohesion, compassion and unity.

Later in the afternoon, a community durbar was held, where the MP had sectional discussions with the people, sourcing and ascertaining community-based bridled issues and how best her office can find solutions to these issues.

The community requested the MP for the rehabilitation of the Abekoase town roads.

A resident called on the MP for the improvement of rural network, one that has become a major issue in the community.
Another resident called for the expansion of rural electrification in bankyease.

Mr. Antwi, senior citizen in Abekoase commended the MP for her relentless support for the community, describing the MP’s leadership as one of a kind.

The traditional leaders,led by Barfour Asare Boakye – Abekoase Nkosuohene, commended Mrs. Osei-Asare for her contribution towards the erection of a community center, a police station and Abekoase Roman Catholic School.

The MP has also supported the construction of the SDA which is currently stalled due to change of government.
