The swift intervention of the police saved a 26-year-old air-condition suspected thief from being lynched by a mob.
Luck eluded Emmanuel Amoako, when he was severely beaten and tied to a tree at dawn for stealing Air-Condition at Awutu Breku in the Awutu Senya West District in Central Region.
Report says, the suspect was rushed to Awutu Breku Health Centre for medical treatment.
The angry mob told newsmen the suspect is a notorious thief in the area who have stolen so many things in the area including wedding gowns and other clothes meant for three different ladies’ engagement and wedding ceremonies.
