The Awutu Senya East Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah on Wednesday, 2nd June, 2021 toured and inspected the Kasoa Polyclinic and some new projects which is about to start within the Municipality.
His first stop was at the Kasoa Polyclinic, where he inspected the Polyclinic Drainage System to check its status.
He also had an interaction with the management of the Polyclinic out of which they made an appeal of an Expansion of the Emergency Ward and also the Emergence of Traders at the Polyclinic. Hon Michael assured them that the Assembly will work on that as soon as possible.
His next and final project stop was the New Pedestrian Rails which will be constructed within the Central Business District to end the incident of traders taking over the road to trade.
Speaking further, he made it emphatically that all needed consultation have been made and contractor will start work from next week.
Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah was joined by the Municipal Urban Roads Engineer, Mr Evans Amoafa, Presiding Member, ASEMA and Assembly Member of Otamens Electoral Area, Hon Jones Kwasi Kwarteng, Assembly Member of Walantu Electoral Area, Hon Malik, Leadership of Kasoa GPRTU, Petty Traders Executives and some party faithfuls.
Later in the day, Hon Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah was joined together with the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr C.K Opoku to address certain challenges confronting some people with Disability and thereafter presented some funds to some of them to start up and continue their various businesses they are engaged in, within the Municipality
