The Chiraa Police in the Bono Region have detained a 45-year-old self-described preacher being found in possession of human remains at Buoku Nkwanta.
Evangelist Elijah, the culprit, was arrested following a tip from a neighbour who was concerned about his preaching activities.

Hon Musah claimed that the suspect lives alone outside of the neighbourhood. He returns to bed in the evening after preaching.
“A security with a quarry company alerted me of his suspicion of the nocturnal activities of the preacher, we proceeded to his house, and lo and behold, we saw human parts being dried on his compound.
“In the company of the town elders, we got hold of him, told him to open his door and to our surprise, we found other human parts in a polythene bag and on the floor,” Hon Musah added.
When questioned about the human parts, Evangelist Elijah said he was unaware of their existence.
He was promptly detained by police from the Chiraa Police Station in the Sunyani West District of the Bono Region.
Further inspections revealed sets of scissors, machetes, pens, jack knives, and other lethal weapons in his chamber.
