The preliminary stage of the 2026 Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF) Circuit Quiz Competition has ended successfully across all seven educational circuits in the Kwahu East District, with students demonstrating strong academic ability, discipline, and enthusiasm throughout the contest.
A total of 56 Junior High Schools (JHS) participated in the circuit-level competition, which was held at designated centers to ensure smooth coordination and equal opportunity for all schools. Certified quiz masters and officials supervised the event, administering standardized questions to uphold fairness and transparency.
Organizers noted that the competition, aimed at promoting academic excellence, recorded impressive performances from participating schools. The event not only stimulated healthy academic competition but also fostered teamwork and critical thinking among students.
Following the circuit contests, seven schools emerged as finalists and will compete in the district grand finale scheduled for March 3, 2026, at the Abetifi Ramsyer Chapel.
The qualified schools are Suminakese D/A JHS (Akwasiho Circuit), Sempoa D/A JHS (Hweehwee Circuit), Miaso D/A JHS (Oframase Circuit), Kwahu Tafo S.D.A JHS (Kwahu Tafo Circuit), Kotoso D/A JHS (Kotoso Circuit), Abetifi Presby JHS (Abetifi Circuit), and Nkwatia St. Peter’s JHS (Nkwatia Circuit).
