Bandits, criminals, Mentally challenged persons and sex workers have taken over Makro Primary A School In the Ashanti region, reports say.
According to reports, these bandits have been terrorizing and harassing school children who go to school to acquire knowledge.
The headmistress of the school, Mrs. Florence Tawiah who disclosed the disturbing scenes to news men said, the authorities of the school are now finding it difficult to curtail the situation.
Speaking to news men, she said, “Security is our major challenge. Because there is no fence wall around the school, people freely gets in as when and how they want. Sometimes, in the process of learning hours, weed smokers and bandits walk in and disturb, most often, its becomes aggressive to control and so I’m pleading if our school can be fenced.”
She said, in most cases, they may return to school with waste, condoms and faeces scattered in the entire classrooms of the school.
“Sometimes it’s very devastating, people have turned the school into hotels and hostels, we usually return to see condoms and other unwarranted things in the classrooms” she added
