The Juaboso Police in the Western North Region is on a manhunt to arrest a thirty-seven [37] year-old man for allegedly butchering his wife over infidelity.
The suspect, identified as Bawumia is alleged to have hacked his wife, Ama Kobre on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Agyapongkrom near Juaboso.
According to the source, Bawumia always complains about his wife allegedly cheating on him until that unfortunate day when his suspicion led to the attack on the wife.
Narrating the incident, the source noted that the victim that day had finished preparing dinner for the family when the misunderstanding ensued between the couple.
The suspect who couldn’t control his anger attacked his wife with a machete. He inflicted several machete wounds on her and ran away when he realised that the victim was unconscious.
The victim is currently receiving treatment at the Juaboso Government Hospital.
