The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, continued his ongoing constituency-focused campaign in the Asene Akroso Manso Constituency in the Eastern Region.
He has shared his vision on Ghana’s next chapter of development with the constituents which includes the introduction of digital streaming platforms for artists, expansion of school infrastructure, the introduction of electronic and faceless audits by GRA, NBA and NFL opportunities for young people, establishment of Ghana School Sports Secretariat and easy passport acquisition with the GhanaCard.
Dr. Bawumia further added that other game-changing policies are the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank, provision of license for small-scale miners, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, tax amnesty, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT, harnessing of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand on electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning of Ghana’s education towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, among others.
He has urged the good people of Asene Akroso Manso Constituency to vote massively for him and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming December 7 general election.
