Bawumia engages constituents of Okaikwei North, Okaikwei South and Okaikwei Central

H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, had various engagements with people in the Okaikwei North, Okaikwei South and Okaikwei Central Constituencies in the Greater Accra Region, as part of his ongoing constituency-focused campaign.

He has outlined the remarkable strides the Akufo Addo/Bawumia administration has achieved which include the Free SHS policy, expansion of educational infrastructure, construction of rural telephony sites, Ghana Card, online application of passport, paperless port, QR code, expansion of roads, construction of interchanges, mobile money interoperability, among others, when he had various engagements at Avenor, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Kaneshie Market, Abeka Market and Lapaz.

Dr. Bawumia has further added his vision and policy for Ghana post-2024 to further enhance development which includes the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, training of I,000,000 youth in IT skills, flat rate at the ports, harnessing the sun to produce solar energy, tax exemptions on the importation of solar panels, repositioning Ghana’s education system towards STEM and AI, tax amnesty, credit score system, among others.

He has urged the good people of Okaikwei North, Okaikwei South and Okaikwei Central to vote for him and their respective NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming December 7 general election.
